Perfect fit! Excellent value for genuine Bosch glow plugs!

Bought some duralast glow plugs and all 5 burned out in less than a month. I bought these quality Oem Bosch ones 3 months ago and all five are still working great. Worth the extra money for sure. Edit - almost two years later and all five glow plugs are still working great. Cant beat Bosch (when manufactured in Germany.)

Great name brand product works great and awesome price

Bosch and Beru are the only reputable manufacturers of glow plugs for the OM616/7 Mercedes Diesel engines, and new glow plugs will certainly make a difference in cold weather starting. You can find these for slightly less (inc. shipping) from other suppliers, but why, when you can order prime and have them at your doorstep within 48 hours. All the tools you need to change these out should be in the roll up tool kit that came in the trunk of your Mercedes from the factory. I would recommend investing in a ratcheting 12mm wrench to get these in and out, and a magnetic 8mm socket for the nuts that hold the wired to the glowplugs. Penetrating oil a few hours before the job, and anti-sieze when the new ones go in makes a world of difference. Removing the injector hard lines makes this job go smoothly. If you don't know how old your glowplugs are the are likely original and marked "Made In W. Germany." Do yourself a favor and replace them.

I have used a few brands of glowplug such as Autolite, and a couple of others for a diesel Benz I have. From experience let me tell you: Don't use anything but Bosch for your Benz. The Autolite brand didn't last 12 months. Not only that, but the resistance of the new Autolite glowplug was approximately 0.1 Ohms - far too low and probably the reason they burned out so fast. A fresh Bosch glowplug has a resistance of approximately 0.4 Ohms. A quality diesel glowplug should last years, not months. So don't waste time fooling around with junk that does not last. USE BOSCH and enjoy your free time.

These little items returned my '85 Mercedes Benz 300D to off the production line standards as far as starting is concerned! My car now starts the first try, everytime, with little cranking, even in sub-zero weather conditions. Buy them and you car will start without the use of ether. Now, my battery & starter will last longer because of these glow plugs!

Bosch è una garanzia in fatto di qualità dei prodotti commercializzati. In questo caso anche il prezzo era conveniente quindi le ho acquistate anche se nell'immediato non devo sostituirle. Il servizio di Amazon è stato impeccabile come sempre. Aggiornamento: montate su ducato 1.9td del 2000 e l'avvio è decisamente migliorato !!! Ottimo prodotto.
