Perfect fit for my 68 VW convertible
I have a 68 beetle and this fit perfect. To be fair old cars are not always the same from the auto manufacturing process in 68 so it is hard for aftermarket part manufacturers have perfect fits, but in this case it was perfect. I usually use other VW parts suppliers but could never get this part to fit the way I needed. As it is plastic it can distort and flex during manufacturing and storage. Old VW folks know this has to fit tight especially if you have a hood opener handle in glove box. Parts was as per description, fit great, arrived quick, so I no complaints

Had to modify to fit squareback but it worked

Fit perfectly
Replaced factory one with this one. Drilled the hole larger to allow hood release to fit and drilled/riveted the release to the new glovebox. Fits perfectly.
