Couldn't mount to seat because Ram is weird, but was able to mount it on Dash with included tools. Truck is a fairly stiff ride, especially while towing, but bouncing is minimal and does not effect ability to read map directions. There is no way the iPad would fall off without being in a horrendous accident.
