I went by the size chart and the Large does fit like a US Medium. The material is 80% polymaid / 20% spandex, light weight single layer front to back and slightly see through when you hold it up. Very cool on hot summer days. It’s smooth to the touch and feels great on the skin. Although it’s not as silky smooth as nylon or ice silk. They do have good elasticity to hold everything in place but so much they feel constructive. There is a seam in the crotch to give the boys some extra room, but it doesn’t go all the way up to the waistband. I do like that. I usually like to have everything situated at the 2 o’clock position, but I am trying out the 6 o’clock. It’s actually comfortable and adds to the bulge. The seams are well constructed so it should last. The bands are not too thin and have a good stretch.
