Cutting Mat 24"x36" Self Healing Dbl Sided

This mat is so huge I have to use it on my dining room table, but it's worth it when cutting large pattern pieces. All of Creative Grids' stuff is amazing - I have a lot of their rulers as well, though I don't buy them off Amazon because apparently there are fakes mixed in with the real stuff in their inventory. Do buy this grid, but don't buy it on Amazon or you might get a fake. I learned about this issue after I bought my mat, but I sent a picture of my mat to Creative Grids and they confirmed that I got a real one, so if you are concerned about what you bought, you can contact them.

Beautiful mat. Very thick and heavy. Great thin grid lines and the dark grey background is great. Best cutting mat I’ve ever had. I prefer Creative Grids rulers, too. CG never disappoints.

Love Creative Grids products and this cutting mat is no exception. Packing was hilarious. The box was almost as tall as I am and was way to wide for the mat, so I was slunched down and when removed from the box did have bend to it. However, after laying the mat flat on the opposite side of the curve for a couple hours, with some heavy books it flattened out without issue.

My old cutting mat wasn’t working for me any more and I decided to splurge any try the creative grids cutting mat, oh my gosh it’s worth every penny! This will be my cutting mat of choice from now on! Mine came in a flat box which I appreciate very much!

This Creative Grids mat replaced my Olfa mat. I didn't think there would be much of a difference, but I was wrong! The color of this Creative Grids mat makes seeing the fabric and the ruler markers easier. The material of the mat makes it really easy to cut through fabric. I highly suggest paying the extra for this mat.

This is a good quality mat and it is true to size. It actually measures 24in x 36in. I have bought other cheaper mats in the past which were inches smaller than was stated in the description. Also, this mat does not have a shiny surface which causes a glare when light shines on it. it is perfect for my quilting projects.

I like this cutting mat. I dont love it. For me it is hard to see certain colors, like the grey or certain blues with this background. Also my rotary cutter( creative grids also that I love, worth every penny) runs maybe to smooth across this surface. I do really like all the different markings for yardage cuts and the 1 1/2" stars, the 2 1/2" squares, and that it has 2 sides. I would buy again however would prefer a different color on the back for those fabrics that need it.
