The only aspect and annoyance that you may find yourself facing are going to the compact size of the keyboard. It is a proper keyboard, with alt, control, windows keys, arrow keys. However, it is condensed into such a small form factor. I find my hands needed to adjust when using the keyboard, however over time you get used to it, and then going back to a larger keyboard feels weird. The quality overall is very premium. Alcantara is so nice, however more prone to getting sweat stains on it than the traditional black cover. All in all, very pleased with the product, however with big hands it may feel very uncomfortable. I was able to type around140WPM with it, the distance between the keys helps since you do not have to travel far from the home row. Then again I can type 160WPM with a bigger keyboard.

**Q: What layout is this? UK? Is the left shift key being split into 2?**
A: Yes, the one I recieved has a standard UK ISO layout with a spilt left shift key

**Q: Is this the official microsoft keyboard?**
A: Well it works on my Surface Pro.  Slots in via a magnetic catch on the side perfectly and have had no problems with using it.  It folds nicely then covering the screen and protecting it.

Use it with my surface go and it works just as expected. The material feels high quality and the keyboard lights up with the press of a button. I must say as it’s a small keyboard it can take time adjusting to typing on it but it has to be small to fit the device.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent keyboard! Bit stiff when new.

Lovely keyboard for the small Surface Go 2. I bought this to upgrade from the older version which was for the Surface Go. This version is different as it has an additional magnet just below the track pad to keep secure the keyboard against the Surface Go 2 when it is closed. However, I have found this new feature to be poor as the magnet is so weak it barely holds. It doesn't help that the keyboard arrived slightly concave so it doesn't fit flush against the screen. On first attaching the keyboard it was extremely stiff, so it did not hold very well in the tilted position. However, this improved after time and use and is fine now. Overall, I would recommend this keyboard as an accessory to the Surface Go 2 or 3. However, if you have larger hands or find typing on a small keyboard difficult you may want to avoid it - although there is not really a larger alternative that is attachable so you would have to use a separate keyboard connected by Bluetooth.
