It looks just about the same, but there are small differences, one being the buttons. They are not visible on the front flap. Second the color, the one here is a bit darker, the actual bag is more of a mix between really dark tan and really light charcoal gray. other than that, what you see is what you get.The bag itself is made of really tough canvas, with tough stitching. it feels really durable and heavy duty.There are 4 main compartments and 2 smaller compartments, the laptop compartment (padded nicely, not overdone), the main compartment (pretty darn roomy, with an extra pocket inside), a second smaller compartment (still pretty darn roomy), and then finally a front buttoned pocket (inside there are 3 more pockets, 2 the size of business cards and 1 the size of maybe an original ipod, and 2 spots for pens.) The 2 smaller compartments are a small document pocket outside the laptop compartment, pretty nice, and then a smaller zippered pocket on the main flap of the bag.Finally, some of you might be wondering "well how much stuff does it actually hold?" let me tell you, I've put in all the contents of my old bag plus some and it's only about 1/3 of the way filled. and not 1/3 of the way filled as in I can force more stuff into there by stacking/rearranging/overstuffing, no. I mean the bag will gladly take 2/3 more stuff than what i already have in there, and the bag never seems to look bulky, or saggy, whether it's nearly empty or jam packed full.What I have in mine so far:-Notebook + Charger/Mouse in laptop compartment-8.5x14 300 page sketchpad, 3 8.5x14 yellow legal pads, 1 large moleskine, 1 Steno notepad, Nook tablet, PSP charger, Nook tablet charger, usb cable, and a usb extension cable in main compartment.-Nikon coolpix, Flip Ultra HD, PSP, and Garmin Vista (geocaching! whoop!) in the second compartment.-Pizza coupon, wallet calendar, extra flip battery, 8gb flash drive, 2 stylus' (one for drawing, one for general purpose), eyedrops, eyeglass repair kit, chap stick, mints, headphones, shirt mic, various pens and pencils, and an LED flashlight in the front buttoned pouch.-1 GameInformer, 1 Rollng Stone, 1 Entertainment Weekly in the document compartment.-1 250pg hardcover book, a caramel candy bar, and a borrowed Joe Cocker cd in the main flaps zippered compartment.As you can see, that's a lot of crap to carry around, let alone fit comfortably (and with room left over!) into one bag.Also! when I went to work today I was able to carry my brown bag lunch in it along with everything else, and then a co-worker gave me a bag full of oranges (8 giant oranges in a grocery bag) that also fit comfortably in the bag for the ride home.Bottom line, this bag is huge, durable, affordable and awesome. Order it. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Great for space, not as much for weight *by H***N on Reviewed in the United States on March 12, 2012* I've owned this bag for a little over a year now, and it's pretty much on its last legs (or threads, as it were).The bag is great if you want to carry a lot of things at once, as it really can hold quite a bit more than it looks in the pictures. It's also got a pocket for just about everything: - The laptop pocket, of course. I was even able to fit two laptops in it (fortunately I didn't need to do it much), but that strained the already-weak zippers (which I will get to later). - The outer back pocket: Great for holding things like flyers, booklets, or anything relatively flat that you want to be able to pull out quickly. You have to be careful not to let the magnet clasp punch a hole in them though! - Flap pocket: Great for miscellaneous things you want quick access to, like gum, your camera, lotions, etc. It keeps rain out fairly well, but not completely; it's still a canvas bag, and if you're in heavy rain, expect the things inside to get a little damp. (If you were wondering, my camera was in a case, which kept the rest of the dampness out - Main pocket: Basically where you'd keep binders, folders, notebooks, if you're in school, or pretty much anything for any other situation. I often put board games in there when I hung out with friends. This pocket also has a smaller pocket inside, which is handy for small books, decks of cards, or other items of similar size. - Secondary pocket: Not as big as the main pocket, but you can carry other supplies in there (I often carried yarn for crocheting amigurumis). - Misc. Pocket: The forefront pocket, there's a couple of small pockets within this already relatively-small pocket. Good for smaller objects you can easily lose in the other pockets, like pens/pencils.The canvas is nice, and is very comfortable to carry around. The strap is very easily adjustable, even while wearing the bag (so you don't have to keep taking it off and adjusting it just to see if it would fit better).Overall, this backpack is pretty heavy-duty, and you can carry just about everything you need whenever you need it. It's not perfect though: - The rings of the straps can easily end up turning, which bunches up the ends of the straps. What this does is pull up the corners of the strap, which puts strain on the strap (mine eventually completely snapped off the bag), by pulling up the corners where the straps are attached to the bag. I had to reattach my strap by sewing it back in. You can avoid having the rings turn by putting athletic tape underneath the loops of the strap, making it harder for the straps to move around on the ring. - The zippers don't last very well. The zipper on my main pocket started coming off of the bag itself (I can sew it back in though). Also, the zippers on both my main pocket and my laptop pocket no longer interlock the teeth on the zippers on their own. I have to pinch the teeth together as I'm zipping them in order to get it to shut (and if I miss a spot, the whole thing can easily unravel itself). It's really troublesome, especially for the laptop pocket.Both of these issues probably stem from the fact that I often put a heavy load in the bag. It's not necessarily that I over stuff them (except for those few times when I needed two laptops), but I guess it just couldn't fully handle how much weight I put into it. ### ⭐⭐ 2.0 out of 5 stars Great bag, bad support when problems arise. *by L***L on Reviewed in the United States on August 3, 2016* When I first got it, it was great. Such a large bag with great amount of pockets for dang near everything. It is thick and durable and seemed to be well crafted. However, just today (just 6 months later) I was walking down the street and my bag just dropped to the ground. Upon inspection, there isn't any broken pieces, the strap piece just separated. I decided to talk with ThinkGeek about this and they wouldn't provide support for their own product (even though it says on the tag it was made by them, unless you buy from them directly they won't support the product). I've attached a photo so you can see what I mean.
