Good practice for struggling kids.

Extremely well thought out problems reaching many math skills.

These have been great summer practice for my daughter. The questions are clearly written, without the ambiguities, typos, and grammar errors that seem to plague the word problems her school gives her.

This book offers great diversity; the workbook has word problems that are written to support current math standards. The workbook has 128 pages of material that focus on a variety of skills such as; addition, subtraction, multiplication, fractions, logic, graphs, and much more! This workbook is great for students to practice problem-solving skills! The only downfall to this workbook is the exercise pages are kind of short, but they are still good. I introduced workbooks to my children to provide additional support outside of the classroom. I also enrolled my children in an online educational program called Beestar. The program has exercises for several subjects and even offers free enrollment for their math program! Thanks to fun educational tools like this workbook and a quality online program my children’s grades have really improved! I strongly recommend parents check it out and pick up a few workbooks like this one!

Great book to help develop word problem solving skills. My child’s iready scores improved dramatically after working through this book a little each day.

This workbook is very good. The questions are great for the kids to think along to solve the equations. It helps with kids who has comprehension problems.

I bought this for my daughter who recently started 3rd grade. We work on one problem together each night before bed. She does well in math, but it is not her favorite subject, and this workbook is changing that! She enjoys solving the problems as they are interesting and engaging. I think she likes the variety. One day might be an addition problem and the next reading a bar graph. Some problems are easy for her but many are challenging. I think the workbook strikes the right balance between easy/hard and is helping her gain confidence in math.
