Exterior wood varnish
Bought this varnish, to use on our Summerhouse. If you want to keep natural colour of the wood, this product is what you need. I would buy again.

Does exactly what it says on the...
I was a bit apprehensive after reading some reviews but, to coin a phrase, I did exactly what it said in the tin, and everything was fine. The key point is, stir it. Stir it well. Then stir it some more. When you think you've stirred it enough, stir it a bit longer for luck. DON'T SHAKE IT. That won't help to distribute the sediment throughout the viscous liquid. It's easy to apply (I used a 50mm brush) but it does start to dry VERY quickly (like... minutes) so watch out for runs and deal with them straight away. I was using it outdoors but there was no noticeable smell. It has a white milky appearance in the tin and slightly after application but it quickly becomes completely transparent. The product came wrapped in some sort of shrink-wrap cling-filmy stuff, so little chance of the lid coming off in transit. Brush was easy to clean with tap water if you do it straight away. You'd have to mess about with paint thinners if you let it dry.

Good product, goes a long way
I’ve been using this on quite a few projects over lockdown and this tin goes a long way. It does have a very slight sheen but it’s a lot more Matt than some that I’ve used. Dries to a hard finish. Generally very pleased with the product.

Very fast drying!
Brush out any drips/overpainting as you go.. varnish will be dry within 30 mins so you cannot go over any blemishes later!

Good finish.
Just the finish i was looking for. Arrived late, but worth it. Good result and at a reasonable price. Thank you.

Tin smaller than I anticipated however was plenty to cover my worktop several times.
I ordered this for my wooden worktop and the when the tin arrived, it was smaller than I thought it would be. However, there was more than sufficient to protect my worktop several times over. Yes, I would buy this product again if I needed to.
