The velcro is very wide and very sticky, so they stay totally secure. No slipping around the ankle. I'm on my feet all day walking around, so I wear them under my scrub pants to get exercise while at work. They're so comfortable I don't even notice I'm wearing them other than my legs and butt have gotten way tighter since I started wearing them two months ago. And because of the wide velcro, they lay flat enough that you can't even tell I'm wearing them. Going to order a heavier pair now!
