They have the flannel inside so they will be warm, but I am hoping they will end up being cooler than the Hearthfire slippers so he can wear them in the summer in the house. He is cold natured so I think that will work. They are nice enough that he can wear them when I drag him to the grocery store with me. The sole of the shoe is sturdy and durable. It is the same as his other slippers by RockDove and I know those hold up very very well for a long time. These shoes are an unbelievable value for what you get.
