It works! The range on the transmitter is an issue, though. So if you get one, you'll probably have to hack it if you want more than 10 feet.Edit: if you want a 433MHz transmitter receiver combo, pick this up. It was on Prime when I bought it (primary reason for buying it). To get the range to a useful level, include in a circuit that can feed it 12v.

Great value for the money

I'm an electronics tinkerer and experimenter who wanted to use this device with a Raspberry Pi to emulate a remote control for a ceiling fan. It performed quite well in this capacity. For the price, it was a good purchase.

Sucks

I'm trying to use this on a raspberry pi with home assistant. Maybe it's a software issue, but it is extremely unreliable. With the outlet that I am trying to control right next to the transmitter, it only sends the command correctly about 20% of the time! Maybe I got a dud? IDK. I tried using 12v DC, but then it worked 0% of the time. I have another one coming from China, we'll see if that one functions any better.
