Superb - quiet yet forceful!
It is exactly as described. I needed a slimline fan to fit in the tight space of a 1969 Rover P6 V8. This fan is used instead of the permanently rotating engine driven metal unit. Paired with an inline water temperature switch the fan comes on and goes off when expected and has enough air flow capacity to cool sufficiently. Overheating is a common problem with this antique car but this slimline fan does keep the temps in check. It isn't as noisy as some fans but seams to be more effective. So very good all round. The fan comes with an assortment of fixings giving you plenty of choice in how to mount the unit.

Easy to fit but not very good for me
Easy to fit but I have quite a thick radiator and this doesn't really push the air through very well, couldn't fit it on the inside and use it as a pull fan as there wasn't enough room.

So easy to fit.
My old 5 series bmw air con fan failed so pulled it out and fitted this twilight garage fan in its place. Works like a dream great bit of kit.

Not really universal
We were excited to get this fitted to see if it really was universal, the mechanic installed it perfectly but unfortunately it did not come on when the engine reached the heat threshold for fan cooling operation to kick in, therefore it is unclear if this is suitable for a VAUXHALL INSIGNIA (2014) 1.8 SRI PETROL, it is not clear if the modulator is not compatible but as the item description states ‘universal’ one would think so, therefore I can only submit 1 star as the item is now useless to me

Disappointing performance, near disaster.
I ordered this because I was stuck and needed next day delivery. Installed as a pusher due to space. Whatever its claimed performance it is not up to the job. It never managed to cool the car, despite it having a high capacity aluminium radiator, just slow down it's heating. Very poor airflow through the radiator. After a near disaster in summer traffic I've finally replaced it with a named brand and the difference is staggering. A true example of buy cheap buy twice.
