With the DD-3T, we’ve updated the classic stomp with enhanced functionality while fully retaining the original’s sound and control layout. It’s now possible to tap in delay tempos using the onboard switch or an external one, with your choice of three beat subdivisions. The direct output jack has been moved next to the main output, providing easier connectivity for wet/dry setups. Review: One, if not the most versatile pedal I own. - Kept looking at this pedal for a few weeks. Went over many of the online reviews and finally decided to just get it, and glad I did. Loads of flexibility in your tone delay and repeats. I already own an original Boss DM-2 and a Boss DM-2 Waza and love those pedals. They each have their own purposes but the DD3-T is something extra special! Using it with my Tremelo Pedal and Whammy 4 you get some unbelievable sounds. Or take out the Whammy and add your own overdrive or blues pedal. You not only get delay but you can get a monumental type Hall Reverb and other effects I didn't even know where possible. The Hold feature is really great for tone repeats and the Tap Tempo feature allows you to play it right in time with your notes as you need it. Like Pink Floyd? Then this is a "must have pedal" for the luscious Gilmouresque sound, looking to play some U2? This WILL get you that Edge repeat effect in spades! Radiohead, The Cult, you'd be surprised how many guitarists actually rely on the Boss brand delay pedals. Tom Morello in fact uses 2 on his pedalboard, granted they're the DD-2's but IMO opinion you still get that same level of warm delay tone from the DD-3 just like the DD-2. Models afterwards are good but don't have the same level of warm smooth tone that the DD-2 and DD-3 have. And as you do more tweaking with the pedal you find out something new with each setting. I've only been playing with it for less than 15 minutes and this is by far the most versatile pedal I've ever owned. Easy to achieve some amazing slapback delay sounds with too. Couple this with your Blues Driver pedal and it'll really open your eyes and truly make you sound better. This is a definite YES on a recommendation for this particular pedal! Review: a great peddle for anyone interested in delay - arrived in good condition and performed perfect out of the box. no complaints from me. ## Features - Enhanced Modern Functionality: Updated version of the industry-standard DD-3, with enhanced functionality for modern players - Ultra-Easy Operation: Ultra-easy operation for fast sound creation - Versatile Delay Time Range: Delay time of 12.5 to 800 ms, divided into three ranges for quick setup - Tap Tempo Control: Tap in tempos with the onboard pedal switch or an external footswitch - Short Loop Setting: Short Loop setting for creating phrase loops (same as the Hold function on the original DD-3) - Direct Output Capability: Direct output for sending dry and wet sounds to separate amps - Convenient Jack Positioning: Main and direct output jacks now positioned on one side of the pedal - Classic Sound Retention: Fully retains the original DD-3 sound and control layout while offering modern enhancements ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B07YDGK9M1 | | Amperage | 100 milliamps | | Audio Output Effects | Wet/Dry | | Best Sellers Rank | #6,642 in Musical Instruments ( See Top 100 in Musical Instruments ) #17 in Electric Guitar Delay & Reverb Effects #1,490 in Guitar & Bass Accessories | | Brand | BOSS | | Brand Name | BOSS | | Color | Grey | | Connector Type | 1/4 inch (6.35mm) audio jack | | Controls Type | Knob | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 out of 5 stars 515 Reviews | | Hardware Interface | 1/4-inch Audio | | Included Components | Cable | | Item Dimensions | 7.87 x 7.87 x 7.87 inches | | Item Highlight | BOSS’s iconic DD-3 Digital Delay has been a pedalboard staple since 1986 | | Item Type Name | BOSS DD-3T Digital Delay Guitar Effect Pedal (DD-3T) | | Item Weight | 490 g | | Manufacturer | BOSS | | Manufacturer Part Number | DD-3T | | Model Name | DD-3T | | Model Number | DD-3T | | Number of Items | 1 | | Power Source | Corded Electric | | Signal Format | Analog | | Style | Pedal | | UPC | 761294515068 | | Voltage | 9 volts | | Warranty Description | Boss five-year warranty. | ## Product Details - **Brand:** BOSS - **Color:** Grey - **Item Weight:** 490 g - **Style:** Pedal - **Voltage:** 9 volts ## Images ![DD-3T Digital Delay Guitar Effect Pedal - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61y5oAYxizL.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: Does this come with a power cord?** A: This does not include a power cord. I believe it is shipped with a 9-volt battery. If you choose to use the power input you must supply your own source. If you search "1 Spot" you will see options such as a wall-wart type supply (with or without daisy chain), or isolated power supplies. **Q: Can I play dotted 8 with this unit?** A: UPDATE to previous answer. > On other delay pedals that feature sub-divisions, many let you tap in quarter notes and they automatically set the dotted-eighth or any other sub-division based on the quarter note tap you input. The BOSS DD3-T requires you to actually tap in the eighth notes. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ One, if not the most versatile pedal I own. *by A***5 on January 12, 2023* Kept looking at this pedal for a few weeks.
