Good quality toner
I tried aftermarket brands, but HP knows their business. When I buy HP brand, I never have a problem with the toner smudging or lifting. Good print quality and the toner cartridge return program helps keep waste to a minimum. Easy to install. They have simplified the 'unboxing' and removed all those orange tabs and ribbons - just simply remove toner from housing and place in the printer.

I tried the generic cartridge. I saved a few bucks but the quality was low and it ran out much faster. Went back to "original" Quality printing and increased volume.

HP product so unnecessarily expensive. But, perfect fit, no leak and good quality.
High quality. Easy to install. Delivers solid black toner. This one did not leak. Perfect fit for the models it is designed for- as you would expect. Knocked a point off for the outrageous cost- these cartridges are too expensive and I will probably try one of the 3rd party cartridges next time to see if the price savings is worth any hassle.

OEM for the Win over replacement knock offs
I tried the cheap non OEM black ink toner cartridge and wasted my money after I could not get it to print in my HP Laser Jet printer ! The HP 215A dropped right in and got me printing again. Don't cheap out I should have bought this one to begin with!

I own the M183 version that this toner cartridge supports, and I have been printing with it since I bought it 4 months ago from the timing of this written review. Nothing went wrong with the replacement of the cartridge, and nothing went wrong with all subsequent printing.
