I find this the easiest way to have oily fish, delicious and use the oil to cook a sauce before adding the fish or save the oil to dribble on pizza or other stews or stock.

This is probably the best you are going to get in India. Unfortunately it is a compromise compared to what you get outside India. Outside India, you can get sardines in extra virgin olive oil instead of just olive oil for just a few bucks extra. These sardines are in olive oil which is a refined oil and not that good or as healthy as the extra virgin version. I hope the sellers consider this and use the real EVOO. I wouldn't mind paying a few rupees extra for it. It would be so much better for health.
