I purchased this laptop for school and it was the best choice I've made for 2020. 1. The first thing I did was to remove S mode. This was done by signing into the app store with my Hotmail account, then searched for s mode and read the instructions. 2. I removed office 365 as I have a preference for Office 2010 3. disabled defender antivirus and installed WinRar and VLC. Hate Defender! Conclusions: I think HP has done a great job. The storage space is small compared to a 1TB but its sufficient to complete all assignments on time while navigating COVID 19. I have no regrets!

This is a very nice sized laptop - purchased it specifically for use in the motor home and so far I'm glad I picked this one from a HUGE range from which to chose. It works like I want it to work, fits where I want it to fit and doesn't take up much space. The price was fantastic compared to other out there. Highly recommend.

It's not the best but with a small budget like I had it's doing better than I expected for the first week... I'll update this after a month or so just in case there's someone with a small budget wondering if it keeps up over time. *update* It's been 3 years and the only problem is that I ran out of storage. Isn't powerful enough to do alot all at once but it can get you through school but you don't need to use a bunch of different software.

After someone spilled a drink on the prior computer we needed something ASAP for my daughter’s school. This laptop was great and came right away. No touch screen but the screen was larger than the chrome book. Able to do the google classroom stuff for my elementary school children

Nothing missing from what you need from a laptop. Great quality, excellent manufacturing. So happy to finally replace with such similarity to old one, just open and use. HP is always your very best choice for quality and depdendability. And they are always there for you.

I bought this as a “study” computer. It only comes with 4GB RAM. My solution was upgrade RAM to 16GB, install Linux on it (Ubuntu works like a charm!). I have two of them, I’m running Linux on both. Battery lasts 6+plus. Worth every penny!

Update: After a second email, the Seller finally responded to me. Sad to report the laptop keyboard is now not even typing when the key is pressed and continues to shut down or stop working without cause. Under a year since purchase date it's evident I was sold and purchased laptop junk from the Seller. And Seller is not willing to assist with the laptop purchased less than a year ago. It's not normal for a laptop to stop working like this. I do not recommend purchasing from the Seller without doing due diligence and shopping around and thoroughly reading customer experience and reviews. I learned my lesson. Purchased this computer on April 5, 2021. Not even a year later laptop is freezing, keyboard buttons are popping off, shuts down without known cause or actions. Very disappointed. I will contact the seller to see if there is a warranty on the device since it hasn't been a year since the purchase date. Hope Seller is responsive and provides good customer care post purchase. Fingers crossed. i typically don't have problems with HP products so this is disappointing, especially since the laptop has been cared for and never dropped or mishandled. Sighhhh.

Buy this and take it to JAMAICA but it not working and and my return date is August 25 2020 from JAMAICA and I only on till August 4 2020 to return the laptop so what can I doing please
