I am a huge Tabasco fan and am a little bit biased, but I got more than I expected from this sauce. It is not very hot compared to the hottest sauces I have, but it is still probably around 7000-9000 Scoville units, and therefore is not mild by any means at all. The best parts about this sauce are its unique type of heat and flavor. If you're weird like me, you may straight up just drop a teaspoon or so of hot sauce on your tongue when you first try it. When I did this, and when I mixed a good amount of it with food, I felt a slow burn unlike any other sauce I've tried. This is much different from the Original Red Tabasco sauce, which hits pretty quickly. The flavor of this sauce is very distinct and enjoyable, and adds to food even more than the Original Red sauce (which is also pretty freaking amazing).
