The spring loaded clamp has a firm grip, doesn't require adjustment when switching phones, and will hold even a larger-sized model (I have an HTC One Max, with 6" screen, in an Otterbox,. It fits with space to spare). The suction cup is strong and easy to set firmly, with a latch that pushes down to secure it in place, all I had to do was remove the protective plastic, clean the cup with a touch of Windex and it went right up and holds securely. The swivel mount that attaches the clip to the flexible arm makes it much easier than usual to get set exactly where you like it and it stays in place once set. I saw some folks had trouble with it swiveling around, but the base ring is adjustable and can be screwed down to a pretty tight hold on the ball, I wonder if people haven't got it adjusted all the way. There is some motion of the phone when driving, which is unavoidable with a flexible neck, but I found it to be pretty minimal compared to either of the models I've tried before and certainly not enough to cause difficulty reading my screen or GPS.The fact that this cost less than half of what I paid for any of my other mounts and it's a no brainer. I ordered a second one for my other car within a week of receiving the first. ### ⭐ Junk. Period *by D***L on April 10, 2016* If you could do "zero stars" - this gadget earns that rating. It simply won't stick to anything. I wanted it to attach to my windshield, a surface that is way less difficult that, say, the dashboard (where it is also advertised to work). Technically, it will attach to the windshield, without a phone in it. But if you touch it, even lightly, it falls off. I've made sure the windshield is "squeaky clean" and have tried the device with various solutions to aid the stickiness. Avoid this seller and this product. ### ⭐⭐⭐ First, it's too short *by V***T on May 4, 2016* I don't believe that my windshield slopes at a much greater angle than anyone else's, but affixing this to the glass far enough down so as to obstruct the least amount of view of the road still puts the item it is holding at a just barely reachable distance when I am driving. I am using it to hold my GPS but, as another reviewer mentiond, the clamp-style grip will hold just about anything, camera, gps, whatever. That said, I can deal with the distance - it's a bit awkward, and another inch or two would be better, but it is usable. Bigger problem is that the socket where the grip fits onto the ball joint at the end of the arm does not fit snugly enough for a secure hold. It might stay in place if my car stood still all the time, but it has a tendency to drift to one side or the other when I turn a corner.
