I plan to use it more for hiking and for me the bottles a quite small. I can see it being good for someone running short distances in need of a sip of water here and there, but not in any kind of heat or strenuous situation requiring great hydration. The belt has a nice flexible waist feature for wearing over layers or sharing between family members because it has a long velcro closure for multiple waist sizes. I do like that the bottles can be accessed and opened with one hand. The pouch gives ample space for keys and phone which is really a required feature these days....who goes running without their phone anymore?? I got this at a discount in exchange for my opinion.
