Pulp Riot Semi-Permanent Hair Color 4oz- Jam

I have tried many brands and thus far Pulp Riot is my favorite. Colors are great, pictures give actual representation of color, and don’t washout/fade nearly as fast as other brands. Rich vibrant color that doesn’t dull the hair.

My stylist turned me onto Pulp Riot and I was really please with the color, how it fades and most of all its doesn't bleed. No worry about it transferring to my sheets or clothing. Only a minimal amount of color loss with shampoo (like a bit of colored rain on the shower wall vs a river of it. Easy to rinse off and not stain). Great vibrant color, that smells good, and doesn't dry out hair. Long lasting for a semi-permanent and fades true to color. Fade depends on how often you shampoo it. I also really enjoy the packaging.

Color came out good on my daughter locs I did a before and after! Her tips started out a pre lightened golden blonde and this is the after results! Looks good let sit for 30 minutes on her hair I am impressed not as bright as it was when I applied the application once washed it got darker but it’s still very pretty and vibrant. Would recommend for locs for sure!

If you want a shade that's more of a pinky purple then this is the hue for you! 😄 I personally paired/blended with Velvet over lifted/prelightened hair for my color goals this time around and was not disappointed. I will mention I did have some remnants of my previous green color (1:1 all-over of Blue Muse & Area 51) prior to depositing Jam which thankfully color theory was on my side and this one was purpley enough to cancel out those tones. See ends for Jam (Violet) results in photos, but beware the camera simply doesn't do it justice. It's so much better irl and of course lighting plays with such a vibrant shade all day long!✌️🤩 Note: the pony shot is how it has faired after a couple weeks or so to speak to longevity IF you follow the basics of color care. Remember lovelies, if you wash your hair often, with any old products, and not with cooler water temps....you are going to have a bad time!🙅‍♀️

I love the creamy texture of this product. It is easy to wash out, works quickly, does not stain porcelain surfaces. I use it to cover some of my grey hair. The only thing is that it only really lasts for one shampoo, after which it fades significantly. Since my hair is curly, I only wash once a week or so, which makes it worthwhile. The color is vivid. I imagine that one would need to bleach one's hair to make it more porous for the color to last longer. Since I don't want to bleach my hair, I accept that the color is short-lived! I have gotten lots of compliments on the color.

Really wonderful shade. It's much brighter than velvet which is darker with a lot more blue. I paired it with Cupid and it turned out really magical.

Everything else I use, runs off so fast! Everytine I get in the shower, it looks like I strangled a grape! This is a bit more expensive, but my go to from now on! Other colors in their pallet mix REALLY WELL together!!
