I got this today, on time. I completely agree with the other glowing comments that I read. It is definitely comfortable to hold. It seems very durable (time will tell). The yellow is really bright at night and is great for visibility. I had no problem with the size of the clip, but my dog is only 17 pounds and the harness is on the small side of harnesses.

I really wanted to like this leash. It's perfectly sized for our dog, the handle is soft and rubberized and fits all your fingers, It's a flat ribbon and the bright neon color is highly visible. Braking is smooth and locks easily. The only problem (deal breaker) is the annoying noise when it extends and retracts as the inner coiled spring scrapes the inner sides. If I walk with the dog a constant distance ahead and my arm swings, it sounds like a duck is chasing us. Maybe this unit was defective. UPDATE After I placed this review I was contacted by the owner of PupPal, Nathan. He assured me that the leash should not be making noise and offered to send another free of charge. I mentioned that I would be interested in trying out another sample. In the next email I was told another would go out that day. After waiting a month without receiving anything, I sent another email which had no response.

We take trips to my parents house in the southwest which is full of coyotes, foxes, rattlesnakes, raccoons and other critters including grasshoppers, mice and lizards which Jack is enthralled with. The leash is a good on again off again augment to our hunts (especially around shrubs or stones or tumbleweed where snakes may be hiding). The leash is a fairly common design by now. It seems comparable in price and style to what you'd get at Petco/petsmart, but I will say that the build quality on this is striking. Really good, I don't see any flaws or see it breaking any time soon. The ribbon is also really nice and hasn't frayed yet in almost 2 years of use.

I have finally found a retractable leash that doesn't bound up and frustrate me. It looks good and super light. Its made with good quality materials which makes it nice and smooth. I dropped more than just a handful of times and the casing is holding up. Im a dog lover and buy a lot of pet supplies so this purchase was a blessing.

I bought this leash 4 times because I liked it so much. It is the easiest retractable to work and doesn't give you burns like the plastic dotted kind if it accidentally falls. Two times my dog chewed it up (my bad) and one time it stopped retracting (tangled up inside and jammed). But tonight it just snapped and came completely undone (fell out of the handle) when my dog chased after some birds. My dog is a bit of a puller, and a runner when loose, but he is only 15 pounds. I'm just grateful that my dog didn't run away or get hurt. If you have a large dog, or a dog that pulls and will run away, then this isn't the best leash for you. If you have a smaller, well behaved dog, then this should work well. I will miss this leash but have to move on to a regular, more sturdy type.

The leash is okay but the hook is too small. It unhooked from my dog's harness, after it took me 20 minutes to even clip it on.

Didn't even last one year. I bought this as a second leash for home, I forgot his leash once when we went to the park. The leash I still have that stays in my car I've had for years, this is the second dog to use it. It's a Flexi Comfort 1 and you can believe that's what I'm gonna buy now. This PupPal has stopped retracting, I bought it in January 2016 and it's now October 2016. It's crap, don't buy it.
