We are going overseas to live for two years, so bought four of these to hold some DVDs we wanted to take. There were many more sleeves in each case than advertised (slots for 48 DVD's rather than the advertised 24 slots.) So, we simply removed the extra plastic sleeves easily (they are simply attached with Velcro. ) We would have left them all there, but that many DVD's would not have fit.
