Lead Exposure & Cancer Warning
Buyer beware. The plastic on the jar, that prevents it from leaking during delivery, has a clear lead exposure and cancer warning. One removed, it is not labeled on the actual jar. As for the advertisement online, this warning is only seen in a single non-prominent line toward the bottom of the page. Annoyed that I waisted money since this product cannot be returned.

This palm sugar is excellent—it has the perfect amount of sweetness without being overpowering. It adds great flavor to recipes and dissolves well. However, I’d recommend removing the white paper inside the lid upon arrival, as I noticed some mold on it. Aside from that, the quality of the palm sugar itself is great. Would definitely buy again!
