Vallejo Skin Tones Paint Set (8 Color) Paint

I love these paints, I had to buy a different color set. I’ve been painting 3D printed figurines with these paints through dry brushing technique, I don’t own an airbrush machine. They’re fast drying, easy to mix and easy to do coverups if mistakes are made. This was gray, I’m still working on it, but so far it has great pigment; a little goes a long way.

We LOVE all of our Vallejo paints. We 3D print and paint lots of different models and these paint are amazing. Can't recommend them enough. They go on so easy and smooth with little to no brush strokes. We add just a drop or 2 of flow aid which seems to help remove what little if any brush strokes that may appear. We have bought a bunch of different packs of Vallejo paints and will continue to buy more as needed.

Hervorragende Farbtöne für die Gestaltung von Haut. Die Schattierungen sind ausreichend, um sehr viele verschiedene Teints gut herauszuarbeiten. Ich empfehle, die Farben zu verdünnen - Vallejo liefert seine Farben recht dickflüssig aus, was gerade bei Gesichtern eine Verdünnung notwendig macht. Dadurch werden die Fläschchen noch ergiebiger, was ein zusätzliches Plus ist. Unterm Strich hervorragende Produkte, so wie man es von den Spaniern gewohnt ist. Klare Kaufempfehlung

I was having real problems trying to mix my own colours and finally decided that I needed actual skintone paints. I really like Vallejo paints for model figure painting and airbrushing, so I chose these. Most of my paints are from Vallejo as they have a good consistency and give good coverage. This set is no different. I mainly use a wet pallet in my painting and these paints worked well with that. They didn't separate much on the pallet and were still good to go after about 20 minutes of being left untouched. I found the Game Ink Skin Wash (72.093) in the set to give a really strong reddish colour when used straight from the bottle over the lighter skintones. I eventually worked out that it needs to be really watered down before use and applied in thin glaze-like layers. The Game Color paints are nice to use but I would recommend trying them out on an old model first to see what the dried colour looks like. When used with the thinned skin wash and then some light dry-brushing, the skintones look really good. Overall, a good set of colours that I'm sure I will be using for a while to come.
