It is very durable.
This is a great pen if you like super fun point. It has the perfect friction against all paper types. I can’t say enough good things about it. It works great for notetaking in the margins in a Bible or textbook.

Fine Line Writing
I like writing instruments, pencils and pens, that write a fine line. One of my co-workers was using one and I wanted to try one myself. I have been using it on a regular basis since receiving it. The fine line it produces is just what I wanted whether I am writing or drawing. I have to hold the pen more vertical to obtain the best line and sometimes it takes a stroke or two after a long pause in use to get a good line (may also be the condition/type of paper).

Great depending on paper
Here I am reviewing a pen on Amazon. The places COVID quarantine life takes you. Pen feels robust and is nice to look at. Obviously a 'homage' to the Rotring, but of lighter material and not balanced. It is bottom heavy and the design makes it so that I've already repeatedly mistaken the top for bottom and bottom for top when I go to pick it up. The click mechanism has a cheap plastic rattle and the plunger wobbles. Man I am really nitpicking. It is an oil-based ballpoint pen and depending heavily on the paper it writes beautifully putting down full-bodied creamy lines. It works wonderfully in my MoleSkine Cahier notebooks, but fails shamelessly on some other papers. Compared to my gel ink Signo 0.28 pen, this pen is a lot more paper-selective. That said, this pen excels on more surface-porous papers (if that's the right description) where the Signo gel ink would start bleeding with slower strokes. The grip / barrel is smooth and while being bottom heavy helps, it requires more force to grip and my weak little hands are more prone to cramping when using this pen to write or draw for ants--as one does with 0.28 pens. For a roughly $12 pen, it is slightly disappointing in it's difficulty to hold and use, the tiny refill, and its selectivity when it comes to papers. But it looks amazing, the finish on mine is flawless, and on the right paper it writes quite nicely--also, the 0.28 tip is a treat for those looking for fine pens for detail sketches or small notes. I'd buy again, despite complaining about it for several paragraphs.

Nice heavy pen
Love the heavy weight of this pen. The tip is extremely thin, my only gripe it’s almost too thin and can fill a little sticky if you write too hard as it is sharp to catch the paper. I love the navy blue color and there is also a mint color. Feels comfortable while writing. And because of the weight it feels more durable just have to change ink.

Smooth writing
This pen writes very smoothly, considering that the tip is almost like a needle. The ink is oil-based so it doesn't run. It's well balanced and doesn't need a pen pillow on it. What's not apparent until you get it is that barrel is not round. That's not a deal breaker, just something I think I should point out. Edit: Drawback is that the description isn't clear that this pen contains black ink. HOWEVER, the ink color isn't made clear. I have an irrational hatred of black ink, so I will have to buy blue ink refills. I am not sending it back, though. It writes too well for that.

Quality
Writes smoothly. Feels great in the hand. Ink dries very quickly and doesn't smear when you rub your hand or object after you write. The quality and durability will make this pen useable for years

This pen literally does not work. Have a look!
This pen literally does not work and I will never understand how it made it past quality control. I purchased this after seeing it on a YouTube video that talked about unique writing pens. I am always looking for pens with very fine nibs, and at 0.28 mm, this definitely qualifies. But it also qualifies as unique in that it has one feature no other pen does: it doesn't write. The ink constantly stops flowing no matter what paper type you use or at what angle you hold the pen. In the attached video demonstration, I write in a nice leather bound journal as a test. No one wants to watch a five minute video where I write the same thing on a bunch of different types of paper, but if you're willing to take my word for it, the results are exactly the same as you see here no matter what type of paper I write on. This is going back for a refund. How did this ever make it out of the factory?
