does the suction "stick" to laminated paper?

It does stick long enough to spin it, but pops off frequently. I find it sticks better to laminated cardstock vs laminated paper. However, I teach kindergarten and I was able to teach them how to properly put it back on and we’ve had no issues.

I am not sure how you come up with these dimensions : Product details Product Dimensions: 7.9 x 5.7 x 0.8 inches.. they are nowhere near that large?

No they are not that large. They are much smaller than that. I don’t have them in front of me but they are probably 2 1/2 inches in link
