Works great! Slides like skis on any surface. Used mostly inside the home. I can see that outside, concrete and other irregular surfaces will wear them out. But cheap and easy enough to replace when necessary.

These work great for the Walker that I’m having to use right now, but I did put socks over each one to keep it from scrubbing and marking up my hardwood floor, but still much better than the rubber tip that came on the walker as these glide very easily.

I am new to the world of walkers as many of us are! I broke my back and had extensive, aggressive surgery. The PT at the rehab did NOT want me in the fancy and prettier 4 wheel walkers ( with seats and etc). I have been with my walker for almost 2 months now and it snags on every little thing/ The carpers, can't even go for a walk outside. You know those cracks that we never really paid attention to before we used walkers? Yes, those cracks. I ordered new wheels. With the wheels there were a pair of skis. My mom put them on while I was resting. OMIGOSH it was like the best thing ever!! Sadly the wheels were exactly what I had on my walker already! UGH ( remember, still trying to figure it out) and the skis kept twisting every which way. But for that first few days it was wonderful! You couldn't hear me coming!!! My gosh I rattle and vibrate so loudly without anything on the walker!! It's uncomfortable for us too as we're holding on for the ride. I ordered 8 inch wheels to make sure I could go outside for a walk and tackle a sidewalk and they are supposed to come with skis too. In the reviews, it seemed like a lot of folks didn't get there skis so I ordered these on my own! I figured out after hours that I needed a 1 inch but maybe 1 and 1/8th. I couldn't figure it out. And yes I did measure a lot!! I felt based on the 20 something times I measured that I probably needed a 1 inch. I looked for a flexfit universal pair and I saw these which were an "Amazon Choice", great reviews. no tools needed!! What more could I ask for?? They are WONDERFUL!!! I paid extra to get them the same day. They went on easily. I saw a video that showed how you line them up and put the skis on by hand just a little and then lean on your walker and that's what I did. I had my son help me with that part! These skis are so much better than the free ones I received with the wheels I wrongly ordered. These are much more solid. You can just feel and see the toughness. They are NOT twirling around having a dance show. They are exactly in the same place as they were yesterday when I put them on!! I just love them and whether I actually get a pair of skis with my new wheels ( they're on their way)? I don't care! They'll be a back up if something should happen. No other pair can beat these as fa r as I'm concerned and the price point was pretty much the price the others were charging! Thank you for making a sturdy, dependable ski for us! It's hard enough to use a walker and have health issues and although my walker is temporary? I will always recommend these to anyone I see with tennis balls or nothing like I had used before I knew they existed!!! Love these Pop and Glides!!! Sorry to write so much but these really are amazing!! Thank you again!!!

A necessity for those of us who must use a walker. Makes movement of the walker much smoother. I have purchased many of these over the past 10 years and this brand is great.

I only gave these skis four stars because I realize I’m probably the only person in America, who still goes barefoot 24 seven at 60 years of age. With that said, these work wonderfully, and they are very nice, and they support what they were intended for. They, however, are not made for bare feet. I couldn’t use these because I kept cutting my toes on them and stubbing my feet on them. They didn’t last me, but about 3 days of that and I had enough. So if you wear shoes or house shoes they would be great and I would have given them five stars which they really deserve. They certainly stay a lot cleaner than tennis balls and are not a “hair” magnet either. They really are a great item - just not for this bare-footed contessa.

These walker skis are so much better than tennis balls. However, I'm not sure that I would recommend for hardwood floors unless an adhesive felt or the fuzzy side of velcro could be placed on them for protection from scrapes. I have carpet, so they glide well on it. I even use it in public on parking lots, concrete driveways and they hold up well on all types of rough services too. These are what I will use from now on. Plus, you can't beat the price for them.
