I order these USB C keystones because I am always working near my server rack and this is very convenient to have 2-3 of these in the patch panel and be able to charge a phone or usb powered camea . I don't know why I waited so long to install these.

These did not work well at all for our application. We had extended a power supply for an Eero router and it kept failing. The connectors were loose and not rated for the power requirement of the device. I order keystones from another company with a higher voltage rating and work perfectly.

I have a monitor that accepts usb c as an input type, this has the added benefit of charging and displaying video with one cord. I tried using this adapter to hook two cables together with my wall mounted monitor and it did not work at first. I was about to write it off entirely but then thought of trying to flipping the direction the cables are getting plugged in and eventually got audio/video/charging all working with the same cord. Dropping a star since I have to make sure I'm plugging my cable in the right direction.

I planned on using for my external hard drive. Just to try, I connected one side to my Samsung super fast charger and the other to my S20U 5G. Sure enough, they support the charging speed.

Got these to use as a pass through for charging at my night stand. After getting installed and plugged in the wall adapter inside my nightstand and plugging a device in on the outside, it is directional. So other than you needing to pay attention to what way your cable is being plugged in, it works.

They look ok, seem sturdy enough. Time will tell if they last beyond a few plugging and unplugging.

so i ordered like 6 of these and its been maybe a year and I've had to replace all of these keystone jacks. they are made of plastic and they are very cheaply made and they crack. and they also don't work with all usbs. for example it will work with my usb-c SSD but wont work my with usb c memory stick
