This is a must-read for literally any person alive. There is so much incredibly valuable information in this book, it should be kept in vaults with our most cherished possessions. The insights you will gain on how to positively interact with people will have massive lasting impacts on every relationship you have. If you haven't read it, you must read it.

This book is a must read. It doesn't matter your age or what stage of life you are in, you will benefit from reading this book. This book is full ideas and thoughts that you have probably had before but didn't know to implement or maybe how to implement into your life. This is a book you should read many times to fully grasp and implement some of the ideas taught. Such a great book.

I dont have to say much about this majestic book. There are so many stories ,examples or even surveys to cover the need of the chapter. As for the lessons go the book was becoming more and more interesting. The only thing i kind off felt was off was the last part about marriages and relationships with spouse but that something that i consider normal, given that i am young person that has expereineced some of them as a viewer in my family. Till then i have to use those the remaining tactics and have the part of spouse read again in guidance to what i do wrong. A total recomendation for someone looking to find guidance in the outer world.

As many, many other people have already said, this is a great book worth reading. Everybody should read it- and then re-read it often. As I began reading the book, it seemed like Carnegie was teaching basic, common-sense principles. As I got farther into the book, I realized that entire book is basic, common-sense principles--principles we have all heard or been taught at some time, but that very few of us remember to practice. I can testify that any person who can adopt the principles taught in this book will have many more friends and will have much more influence among those friends. It is about how to care about other people and show them that you care. EVERYONE should read this book and try to apply at least one principle!

I have several tattered copies of this book in my library and I have read this book probably at least 15 times in the last 40 years. I try to keep a small supply of them on hand to give to friends and business associates. Love this book!!

This remarkable book is something I wish I had read before I turned 20. In particular, I loved the numerous scenarios used to illustrate real-life situations. The stories illustrate how people handled some of their life challenges in effective ways. Compelling, interesting, helpful and above all -- uplifting. Highly recommended.

The red book above is what I thought I was getting. I added a pic of what I received. The book does the job for my class, but it is a much older copy. The spine is worn so it is hard to stay open to read.

This is a timeless classic when it comes to sales and with good reason, I learned a lot. 4 stars because the last chapter is frankly full of sexist stuff that was perhaps ok 80 years ago but I feel it could be updated, somehow reshaped, in the new editions without losing the original spirit

Pour vraiment apprécier ce livre, il faut passer sur son format répétitif (collection de retours d’expérience des clients de l’auteur) et en retenir les messages essentiels et toujours d’actualité un siècle plus tard. Un livre qui fait réfléchir et vous aidera à devenir une meilleure version de vous-même, au boulot, entre ami(e)s ou dans la sphère familiale, si vous appliquez ces principes !

For me, there were plenty of points to apply, and some that I was glad to realise I had worked out for myself. This is a very easy book to read. Some books are hard, some are almost impenetrable (I'm looking at you, Mr Pinker), but this one is the nearest thing to an audio book through the eyes that I've ever read. It did not strike me, as it has other readers, as a book on manipulating people. Rather, it made me open my eyes to how much I take my fellow human beings for granted, and how I can change. Straightaway, I noticed that I was engaging more in conversation and being more outgoing. I would strongly recommend reading this book especially if you find small talk difficult.

A fantastic book for just about anyone if they're willing to implement its lessons.

I loved the many examples for each of the statements, I loved that there were clear statements and a description on how to achieve them. Talks about how successful man became what they're thanks to their curiosity and admiration to others and how we disregard the impact of good relationships in our careers, this book could make the success easier to achieve. The only thing a bit outdated is the last chapter referred to the marriage since doesn't consider that now woman are being sometimes the pillar of a household (60s context)

Comprei pra minha filha de 27 anos essa obra escrita nos EUA na década de 1950. Sem saber que se tratava de obra de 80 anos leu, adorou, recomendou e dai descobriu. Foi muito legal! Surpreendente.
