I had to purchase this for a class I was taking. It was exactly the same as the school offered but at a much better price. It had everything I needed to take and pass the class.

Well written, easy to teach from. Great case studies, love the exercises at the end of each chapter. It would be nice to include some exercises in the book at the end of each chapter, without the answers in the back so students could practice without guaranteed answers.

I ordered this book brand new because I wanted to have a physical copy while I do my medical terminology course, and to have for future reference when I do my CPC course on AAPC. (I am really particular about my books, i spine train them and would never dream of folding a page or anything 😂) So I was pretty bummed that it came damaged. Only minor damage, the cover is bent and creased and so is the back, and the bottom corner of half the pages are very lightly bent. So definitely still usable, just not what I expected for paying a hefty price. It was sent in a bubble mailer. I think if it had just been sent in a box or even added an extra layer of bubble wrap inside the bubble mailer it would have prevented it. But physical quality aside, the book is great. If you’re taking the medical terminology AAPC course, I strongly suggest getting the physical copy of this book over the digital version. Just so much easier to flip back and forth for references, and to take notes from in my opinion! I use the digital version to pull up the glossary, answer keys, appendix, and it has made my study time much easier and at a more manageable pace.

This was the fastest I’ve received a book. I ordered it on Thursday and it was delivered Saturday morning. In great condition.

My rental textbook looked like it was brand new, and it seems like it will be very helpful for my Medical Terminology class this semester.

The book is great, it’s exactly what I needed for school. However, when I received the book, the front cover was bent and has a permanent crease. The only reason to mention this, is as a student, we usually want to resell the book is good shape…thanks.

This review is about the quality of the physical printed book and not the content. For $123 I would expect the book to be printed with higher quality paper and binding. The book that I received is like a product catalogue (similar to one from U-Line) with thin paper and poor quality binding. My wife (the book is for her) and I are very disappointed. The publisher knows people need this book for medical terminology courses and are taking advantage of them by printing such a cheap book. A rip off company for sure.
