I live in a small apartment and this thing has been so helpful in providing more storage. It holds up really well and hangs on the back of our laundry room door in our kitchen for extra food storage and spices and things like that. Fits nicely and works really well.

Easy to put together and space saving in my pantry. Good quality for a good price.

I had purchased another popular brand of over-the-door storage from a big box store when we moved into our apartment. It had an open back and big gaps on each side of each shelf. It never laid flat against the door. So things stored on the shelves constantly fell off the shelves from the back; sometimes to the shelf below, sometimes to the floor. The Smart Design is a breeze to assemble! The basket style "shelves" make the problem I had before a non-issue. It sits flat against the pantry door. The over-the-door hooks are sturdy without being excessively thick. That said, if the door you're thinking of putting this on has a very small space between the top of the door and the frame, the door might not close. The Smart Design has plenty of space for my spices and seasonings and my index card sized recipe box. The reason I didn't give 5 stars overall is because the resin (read: plastic) baskets could be sturdier. While they're not thin or cheap, they have some flex to them. So, in my opinion, this wouldn't work well for anything heavy. Overall I'm super happy with it. I'd buy it again and definitely recommend it!

So easy. was put together in a pinch, easy directions and it really helped to mark the pieces even though some were the same size. Just know that the connectors have these little metal buttons that you push down and then you slip them into the hollowed poles. The metal button will pop back as soon as it finds the opening in the pole. I TRIED ANOTHER SYSTEM THAT WAS BAD AND HAD TO SEND BACK for these reasons.. it was harder to put together, the door wouldn't shut -be sure you try hooks first. You might have to sand the top of the door down. And here's something that I didn't know before I purchased it. It had an unsightly tightening contraption/mechanism that was supposed to secure it in place ON THE OUTSIDE of the door. it was ugly. It should have been on the inside of the door. It was a screw with two knobs that tighten the system once you've hooked it over the door. The screw was too long and it was ugly. LOOK at what will be showing on the -outside- of the door. Look at the diagram of it before you buy.

It saves me space and is durable.

Omg, I'm so excited about this over-the-door organizer! The deep, narrow pantry space in this little apartment has been driving me crazy! I'd have to pull all the canned goods out to find anything. This organizer makes it easy to see what I've got on hand. It was super easy to put together in about 5 mins & seems pretty sturdy. Before ordering, I was concerned the baskets might not be deep or sturdy enough to hold cans, but the baskets look like they're going to work out great! Now I've got the space to reorganize that annoying skinny pantry without all the cans. I'm in heaven!!! I'm thinking of getting another one for the craft room or bathroom! Highly recommend!

I don't often write reviews because I don't have the time but every so often a product wins me over compelling me to do so. I just moved into a new apartment and because it's prewar the closets are smaller than I'm used to. I have never needed additional storage like this and I'm slightly obsessive compulsive when it comes to organization; I was horrified at the thought of over the closet storage. Truth be told I have my Task Rabbit favorite on speed dial but I didn't think it was appropriate to have him come over at 6 AM so I gave this a try. It was so simple and although I expected a million parts since the box was so small, it was a cinch. Now for anyone like me who is challenged in the department of putting things together this made me feel like a rock star. And nothing is more fun than having extra space to fill. The baskets are so roomy that they can even fit plastic holders for smaller things (see photo) Now all I need to do is shave down the top of the closet door so that the door this is on actually closes. Grateful for Task Rabbit for that. I will definitely order another one of these because it really offers so much space. Awesome product.

I absolutely love this rack! It was so easy to assemble and has to organize my pantry! I definitely recommend this product!!
