**Q: How would this be cut with a circular saw?  Would a fine tooth blade be best to achieve a clean cut?**
A: We used a fine tooth blade on a saber saw to cut curves. We used a table saw with finetooth blade for straight cuts. Then used a belt sander to smooth all edges. We also used a mitre saw. Were cutting small quilting templates. Straight cuts were pretty smooth, requiring less sanding. More sanding required on curves irregular elliptical shapes. Hope that helps.

**Q: Are these cast or extruded sheets?**
A: I'm fairly certain that these are cast sheets, though, I'm not a materials expert. I suggest contacting the manufacturer directly to confirm if the manufacturing method is important for your purposes. I can say that they are of great quality. The sheets have excellent clarity, were easy to work with, and didn't chip or crack when I cut them down and polished the edges. Great product

**Q: Is this material heat resistant?  Can I put a toaster oven on top of it without melting it when food bakes at 450-500 degrees?**
A: No - this is plexiglass- not suitable for high temp conditions.

**Q: Do these sheets come in other sizes or can they be ordered for ?    16" x 68" for display case shelves**
A: You can cut them to custom shape with the right blade and even pressure

Perfect for what I need it for. My cats keep jumping on my display case that only has one shelf that's not protected. So I am making clear doors for that shelf. It is very sturdy and when I get the other pieces that I need to make the sliding little doors they will not need a frame. My only complaint would be that the four corner pieces they had to protect the corners were shattered. It was shipped in an envelope instead of a box and I have not removed the protective paper yet but I don't think there was any damage.
