Is this a vegetarian product?

I saw it had bees wax which would be more of a vegan issue? has waxes and oils but feels very creamy, made for cold sores but can use everyday. Has a cap w hole so you can tie to rope or keychain. I love it but my 1st choice is Herpacin L. dreamy scent and texture but love having both.

Does it expire? Does lysine in it expire and lose effect? Thx

I would guess it should be good for at least one year, and I would guess from the size of the stick it will be used up before 1 year

What color is the actual chapstick? white? does it leave a white residue common with spf chapsticks?

Yes whiteish, but smooth and creamy, not waxy, no residue and you don't even know there is spf in it which others have tasted bad before. It states it goes on clear. This minimal scent is great, states unscented. I used it this week on a trip and just love it, also a plus, has a lid w a point w a hole so you can put a lanyard thru it and wear it or attach it to something. We were in the sierras this week w big winds and felt thick enough to cover well. I bought several different kinds, my top choice, is Herpasin L for cold sores but wonderful scent and smooth! this is next in line! They are both cheap, always good to have extra so try them both!

How is it super lysine+ when lysine is the 9th inactive ingredient? does this decrease the strength of the lysine and minimize the impact on cold sore

This is a great product! Works well at preventing cold sores and if you do get one, they are great at healing them quicker. I love it and have a few so that I am not with out. Feels great on my lips too, and it adds a nice shine.
