I put the new pot in right away and it's working great. The design seems improved from the original pot in that maybe it's cast better. Seems slightly heavier and no seam at the back where the igniter port is. That's what broke on the original pot and was causing the flame to be willowy and then the stove needed cleaning multiple times a day and was just filthy.
