a must for Defender owners
For anyone who has a Land Rover Defender or plans of working on a Land Rover Defender this is a must. This is a very comprehensive manual with plenty of detailed schematics and illustrations. It really helped me with the replacement of an input shaft bearing. There are plenty of sources for information on these vehicles online but it is fantastic to have them all in one place. Especially if you find yourself having to troubleshoot or repair things on the fly out on the trail.

Owner's Manual for your ex-MoD Defender
The current British Invasion is on! Many 25 year old ex-MoD (Ministry of Defense) Defenders (Ninety and One Ten) are now being imported to the U.S. This covers operation of all the switches and buttons including the military 7 position rotary headlight switch. It does not go into repairs, you need the shop manuals for that. If you are an American you will need to learn the British terms such as 'bonnet' where we would say 'hood'. Buy a Defender and go have fun!

Not until seeing the inside front cover did we know that the manual covers Nearly Up To End 1995, but not quite as the 300TDI engine fitted at end of 95 is not in that manual, which is referred to inside front cover, but Not in the Item Description! So we bought another manual covering 96/97/98 with that engine's details. However, for any other Landy owners it IS a good manual, but shame we didn't know the engine in ours was not included in the age range to 1995!!!
