It fit perfect and the shine and look so far is great. Looks to be great quality. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Correct Product - Incomplete Description *by J***A on August 12, 2024* After buying a 20-year-old boat, I decided to redo the carpet and upholstery. This required a lot of disassembly. Since I was in this far, I decided to replace all the fuel lines. Unfortunately, the fuel fill hose (1-1/2”) and vent hose (5/8”) were attached to the filler port in such a way that there was no way to remove the hoses without pulling them up through the hole in the boat while still attached to the filler cap assembly. Unfortunately again, there just wasn’t enough space to manipulate it to clear the hole. So, after using a saws-all to cut the old fill cap flange off, the hoses were removed by pulling them back into the boat. That is what required me to order this part.After 20 years, Perko has not changed the design much. 2 exceptions: 1) The ground wire is no longer used, and 2) there is now a deck mounting plate that raises the full cap flange about 3/16” from the boat and helps to ensure water does not enter the fuel system. There is no indication in the description that this mounting plate (spacer) is included. There is also no picture of what’s included, so I added a picture for reference. The Perko website does not indicate that this would be included either, so I had to order it separately from a marine supplier for $20. I’m posting this to save you that waste of money. If not for this missing info, I would have given it 5 stars.
