Broke the first time I used it
OK, I needed a new switch for an old Farmall tractor and selected this one. It is very cheaply made. To install the switch, you unscrew the plastic knob, remove a nut and stick the switch through the dash and reassemble. Very easy installation. However, the first time I pulled the knob into the "ON" position, the entire knob and stem pulled completely out of the switch housing. Instead of threading the back end of the rod, this switch uses only a groove in the back end of the rod, to engage a housing. The groove is too shallow and the housing opening is too poorly cut for this design to work. I ended up enlarging the groove with a hacksaw and finding a tiny snap ring so the rod can't pull out of the housing. I messed around with it for a couple of hours until I got it fixed... I couldn't wait for a new switch to arrive and that was my only option. I can give the seller 5 stars. StevensLake refunded the purchase in full and didn't even want the switch back. Maybe mine was a fluke, but I suspect they're all made the same way. I would go with another brand next time.
