Nathan SpeedDraw Plus Insulated Handheld Water Bottle – Grip-Free Running Flask for Runners, Hiking, and Sports

Ultra trail runner and Ironman athlete and I love this bottle. It's super comfortable to hold on long runs and holds quite a bit of water. The main reason I got it is because it has a wide mouth and lid that's easy to take off without taking the whole bag part off so I can easily fill it at aid stations, and carry my powdered nutrition at the same time. I used it at my last ironman marathon portion. I can fit my phone gels chapstick sunscreen whatever I need in the pouch. I do prefer the soft squeezable water bottles, as you get less air with those but I like that this one holds more, and I don't have to take the pouch off to fill it with water.

I’ve been using this for over a year now. Very effective car is just enough water for my runs. Ran a half marathon last year with it comes with a pouch to hold a standard sized phone, but maybe not a pro or plus sized one.

Fits perfectly in my hand. Very comfortable to carry. I fill with water and carry 2-3 gels in the pouch during long training runs. No problem holding full bottle for 1-2 hour runs.

This is my fourth Nathan handheld water bottle and holder. The last one I had was a 22oz yellow water bottle with a similar holder. I really only needed the holder. A little bummed that it was an 18oz water bottle but luckily the 22oz will fit. It's a little tight but it will fit the holder. I like that this bottle is insulated. The squeeze top is nice cause you don't have to pull up on the top like the older bottles. I've never tried a different brand so I don't have anything else to compare it to. The pouch is a lot bigger that the previous one. I haven't tried to put my phone in there but it would probably fit a smaller phone. The bottom is elastic and the top and nylon strap with no give. That's opposite than the old one. I'm knocking it a star for a couple of reasons. Although the squeeze top is convenient you have to be careful to not squeeze it when you don't want to. I like to run trails and recently took fell and scraped up my leg and landed on my butt. My old bottle was in my right hand and it hit the ground to help break the fall. If that was the squeeze bottle it would have squeeze out a lot of water. I was not hurt enough to stop and kept running but if I had accidently squeezed out my water I would have had to turn back to the car. The other day I was running and started to walk a bit to do something and put the bottle under my arm and accidently shot water across the ground. Again, it is nice and convenient but it could be a problem. I also don't like the smaller opening to the bottle. The old bottle is huge and you can put large ice cubs in there. It's also going to be a pain to add water if I'm racing. I'm going to a trail race in a couple of weeks and they are cup free so I'll be running with my water bottle. I'm sure that they will help me fill it up but if I was racing and I had to fill it up while tired it could again be a pain. It's also a little harder to clean inside with the smaller opening. Overall I'm happy with the set up but I wish they would stop changing the design or give options. That said they do have other products. I went with this because it was similar to my old set up and luckily the old bottle fits. I still love Nathan they are well made products.

perfect size with a pocket for essentials. A little too tight for my phone but I made it work. Great quality!

I had one of these previously from a running store and lost it. I am thrilled to have found another! I have small hands and love how I never need to grip the bottle while on my walks or hikes. Never leaks. I do remove and clean the valve regularly. Easy to keep clean.

I run with this thermas, fits great in my hand. I bought 2 of these and only one of them I have to press down really hard when I put on the top because the last thread don't align smoothly and will leak. Overall I think it will loosen up and go on either ease like the other one. They do stand up when they have liquid inside of them but when empty they won't stand on their own due to the bag attached is just heavy enough to topple the bottle over. The bottles and lids are dishwasher safe and the strap/zipper pouch is machine washable. I have done both and all is well. Also, I dont tuck my thumb under like the manufacturer picture shows, I keep mine out and its more comfortable for me. Bottle needs to be slightly squeezed to dispense the liquid which is good so it don't leak when on its side.

I’ve only used this water bottle 3 times and it already broke. Part of the mouth piece broke and now it doesn’t hold the water in. Before it broke it leaked when I ran. The quality isn’t as good as you would expect. The water bottle itself and the case it comes in nice and fits good. But I can’t use it anymore due to water spilling everywhere.

It fits in my hand perfectly without having to hold it. It is adjustable and holds my phone (without case) and I can still fit gels/gummies in it too. It’s great for 1-2hr activities

Hi, I notice the mouth tips is missing from the bottle cap upon receiving the package and neither it is inside the package as well. Please help!
