It performed a miracle for me!
I wasn’t sure how fast this stuff could actually work, but I found out the other day when I had to figure out a temporary rescue technique for some plants that had been roughed around in the mail and needed support while I waited for their new pots to arrive. I put some of this potting mix in temporary containers and set the two inch pots down into it, being careful not to put soil any deeper than it had been in their pots. I moistened the potting mix first so I could avoid overwatering. The plants perked up within hours and the tallest one stopped leaning and stood straight up! I had some problems with the chemical smell, but that faded by the end of the day. This rescue attempt kept my roughed up two inch plants healthy and safe until I was able to transplant them into larger pots. All of the two inch plants I had ordered transplanted easily with this potting mix and the chemical odor faded gradually. I moistened it as I added it to the pots, a little at a time. The plants all look great, which is actually a miracle for me because I have never had much luck keeping indoor plants healthy. My outdoor plants and flowering shrubs love me, but tropical plants usually hate me. I’m trying to change this and it’s working so far. I’ve been using the organic potting mix to grow vegetable seeds and only one seed died so far because I didn’t water it in time. I’m impressed with the potting mixes so far. I also bought some of the expanding mix, but I haven’t tried that yet. It sounds like fun. Any potting mix that keeps a tropical plant alive in my house is miraculous, so this stuff deserves high praise. I wouldn’t use the non-organic type on vegetables but they have more than one organic choice for vegetables. They’re worth trying. I like the indoor one so far and I plan to try the outdoor kind soon.

Works Great with Orchid Bark for All My Plants, Promotes Healthy Growth
With a love for indoor gardening, I rely on quality potting mix to keep my diverse plant collection thriving. I purchased the Miracle-Gro Potting Mix for Container Plants, Flowers, Vegetables, Shrubs, Annuals, Perennials, Feeds up to 6 Months, 8 qt., 2-Pack to blend with my orchid bark for all my plants, and it works great, delivering consistent results across my monsteras, orchids, and more. Formula and Features: This 2-pack of 8-quart bags contains a nutrient-rich mix with peat moss, perlite, and Miracle-Gro’s plant food, designed to feed plants up to 6 months. It’s formulated for drainage and aeration, ideal for containers, and suits a wide range of plants from flowers to veggies. The lightweight texture blends seamlessly with my coarse orchid bark for a custom soil mix. Performance and Use: I mix this with orchid bark to create a well-draining, nutrient-packed medium for my entire plant collection—orchids, pothos, succulents, and climbing monsteras. The combo keeps roots healthy, preventing rot in my dry indoor environment, and promotes vibrant foliage and blooms. My plants have shown strong growth and greener leaves since repotting, with no signs of overwatering issues. The mix holds moisture well without compacting, making it easy to water without mess. Quality and Value: The 8-quart bags are easy to pour and store, and the 2-pack provides enough for multiple pots, offering great value. No pests or mold so far, and the mix feels clean and consistent without clumps. Pros: Works great with orchid bark for all plant types. Long-lasting nutrients feed up to 6 months Excellent drainage prevents root rot. Two 8-quart bags for cost-effective repotting. Cons: Bag resealing could be improved for storage. Final Thoughts: This Miracle-Gro Potting Mix is a fantastic base for my custom soil blends with orchid bark, keeping all my plants thriving with minimal effort. I love the healthy growth it supports, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone potting a variety of indoor or outdoor plants.

Best potting soil but this one was a little dry
I've used miracle grow before and it does work well but these bags seemed a little dry like maybe they've been sitting around too long. I'm still going to use it, I'll just add some water then plant my Morning Glory seeds. 🙂

I found little hitchhikers! (The good kind)
The potting mix works great. My plants have no complaints so far. It is a little on the denser side and retains a fair bit of water, so you may want to add extra pumice or perlite for aeration. And it will compact fairly quickly. The only thing I'd caution about is the soil isn't entirely sterile. My bag came with some predatory soil mites which, despite the scary name, are beneficial hunters that eat other pests. (People pay money for this kind of stuff!) However, it could've just as easily been fungus gnat larvae or other nasty critters. If you have a sizeable houseplant collection, I would sterilise the soil or quarantine the plant, just for safety. Five stars because it worked out for me lol, may be subject to change later

My plants are thriving like never before. They grow twice as fast and are lush and healthy. The best part is that it feeds them for up to 6 months, which means less work for mne. The blooms are vibrant and plentiful, adding so much color to my home and garden. It's perfect for both indoor and outdoor container plants. Highly recommend for anyone looking to give their plants a boost!
