Love this!
Love this knife! I have a larger version of it, and now I carry this smaller one with me everywhere I go. The blade stays sharp. It fits well in my pocket. I can easily open and close the blade with one hand.

A great knife, metal feel & tanto
Used to buy this exact same knife for 20 dollars a pop at wal mart, so the price online is certainly not appealing. Wal mart stopped carrying this tanto blade type and tanto is a must have feature. Knife is awesome though, I like how it can be flicked out and clicked in with a simple flick motion, with metal grip and finger guards on both sides. The knife does not have a mechanism to stay securely closed though, sometimes when I fall asleep and it slips out of my pocket, when I wake up it's in a half way opened state and I count my blessings that nothing got chopped off in my sleep. True story. On the other hand, reach for it and whip the blade into locked position with ease, and sits thin in the back pocket. It's a good utility pocket knife and durable metal. Like if a door is about to slam shut and I don't want to get my fingers in there, use the knife in closed position. I like this knife because it's a little slab of durable metal, with tanto blade. Good for lefty's too.

CRKT utility knife
Very useful utility knife. Good quality & sharp. Especially the serrated edge, making cutting easier. Compact size and easy to carry

Slick design
I like it, but. The serrated part of blade was shorter than CRKT 5510 I am used to. Real nice.

Smaller Than Expected, But Nice
Overall a very nice EDC knife. Pros: 1. This is a very well constructed knife. As soon as you take it in your hand you can feel that it is not made from cheap materials. For it's size it has solid weight and feels good in the hand. 2. Obviously it will take a very sharp edge as it came out of the box sharp enough to shave hair off of my arm. No idea how long it will hold that edge. 3. One-handed opening is certainly capable. It is a little stiff out of the box, but should become more fluid once it gets some use. A drop of oil may assist with this. 4. The framelock is sturdy and ensures no risk of the knife accidentally closing during use. I like this type of blade lock quite a bit. Cons: 1. Really only one con. This knife is smaller than I expected. I watched the video and apparently the person in the video has smaller hands than me, although I am not a large-hand person. Admittedly I didn't use a ruler to measure how long it would be in comparison to my hand, so that is my fault and that is why I still give the knife 5 stars. Just be aware that if you don't have smaller hands, this may not be the knife for you.

Fantastic Knife
Fantastic Knife. I lost my last M16-10kz but this time I wanted the model with the two nubs on the blade primarily because it looks cool. This knife seems to be of quality, again just like my last CRKT knife. The interesting part about this 'M16-10KSF' one is that it is not using the 'auto-lawks' system that was on the last (kz) knife. It has a more traditional lock where the frame of the handle is bent in and when the blade is fully extended, it snaps into place and can be undone with one hand. I prefer this personally, the auto-lawks took a lot of messing around with. That's another difference, the handle of this one (the frame I guess) is metal, not plastic like the others. Maybe that's the 'special forces' part of it. My blade was decently sharp, nothing stunning but its good enough until I get around to sharpen it. If I remember right, they will hold an edge pretty well. I'm happy, great price on a great knife that is perfect for every day carry tasks.

This is a really great knife. It doesn't quite have the satisfying snap ...
This is a really great knife. It doesn't quite have the satisfying snap of a bigger tactical opener but that's because it has less mass, I knew it's size when I bought it. I love how well clips in the corner of a pocket in an unobtrusive way and after a couple of days of carrying it you no longer notice the weight. For its size it's quite hefty because it's so well built. This is the perfect knife to be used as a tool which is what I bought it for. It doesn't have the intimidation factor of a knife that's made as a weapon though it could still be used for that purpose if needed. For me it's great for cutting open and breaking down boxes and cutting bundling straps at work. After a few months it's ready for a sharpening but it still could go another four months without out it for what I use it for. I have two friends at work with big scary knives they use for the same thing but they are cheap ones bought at a mall kiosk or convenience store and after playing with mine they are ready to spend a little more for a well made knife. I think the two things a person should buy that are quality are a knife and a watch. Look up the Seiko 5 it's another thing I still feel good about having on me every time I use it and it's not much money either.
