Most likely would cut off or damage driver, but lights are dimmable with the remote. **Q: I by accident only bout 98’ but I need like 102 can I connect two together and cut the unneeded off?** A: You can, you may have received the splice pins with yours. Or you can purchase them. But that 4 ft may not be worth the cost to do. **Q: can you buy just the power adapter?** A: No idea... if you happen to find and purchase one..
