**Q: Is the plastic in the set BPA free?**
A: don't know the answer.   what is BPA free?

**Q: Why is the age range 6 and up when there are no knives except for in the pizza kit there is a plastic cutter? My 2 year old loves to help me mix.**
A: Yeah I'm not sure. Perhaps because the apron is a bit bigger, or maybe because they don't think children under six should be helping LOL I have no idea. I would this this set is perfectly fine for a chef in training, like your 2 year old! :)

**Q: Can 5 year olds use this?**
A: Yes. I would suggest supervision so they know how to use each tool.

**Q: Is the apron plastic and what are the dimensions?**
A: The apron is not plastic (well it wasn't when I bought it). It was for my grand-daughter. I don't know the dimensions.

My 9 year old daughter received this for Christmas and loves it!! If your child is even a little bit interested in cooking they will be hooked with this set. She already washed all the items that came in this set, found her own spot in one of the kitchen cabinets and made breakfast this morning. She also received the baking and pizza set as gifts from family members. She is very excited to explore cooking. Items are very well made and perfect for Junior Chefs. Hand wash and no microwaves.
