Love this book!
It takes you straight through the periodic table with a short explanation of how it was discovered and how it impacts daily life. A lot of details, including atomic numbers and structures of Atoms are also available. Wonderful resource if you are doing a Chemistry curriculum with an upper elementary student.

Excellent Basic Science Book for Kids
This book is an excellent science book for kids from ages 8 - 13. It includes really interesting pictures, graphics and explanations. It is easy to read and understand and it is also interesting and keeps the reader engaged with the materials. The explanations of the elements and the organization of the periodic table are very good and helpful. The book covers all of the elements page by page and has a good glossary.

Clear and packed with facts
Great book for the budding chemist - clear and full of information. It is a US book so some elements are spelt slightly differently to in the UK, but that's also interesting for kids.
