HES 5000C-12/24D-630 Series 5000C Universal Electric Strike Complete Pac for Latchbolt Locks, Satin Stainless Steel, Dual Voltage 12/24 VDC/VAC, Includes the 501 and 501A Faceplates The 5000 series is a compact, high performance electric strike designed for low profile openings where there is limited space behind the jamb. Its strength is derived from a unique keeper pin locking design, enabling the 5000 to exceed the ratings of the frame, door and locking hardware. This field selectable fail secure/fail safe unit is easy to install and accommodates latchbolts up to 5/8" throw. Each Complete Pac conveniently pairs the reliability of HES electric strike with the flexibility of multiple faceplates in a single simple package. The 5000C includes a 5000 strike body, the 501 faceplate for cylindrical locksets in ANSI metal jambs and the 501A faceplate for cylindrical locksets or spring latches in aluminum frames. A: I assume you mean the template to guide you to cut the proper size hole in your door frame for the HES 5000 electric strike. With that being said, if there is not a template that came with the strike itself then you can google HES 5000 electric strike and get the information online.

**Q: Can it handle Preload condition from weather seals on front door?**
A: It will not unlock unless the pressure is released.

**Q: Is this compatible with Door bird intercom system?**
A: I am not familiar with Door Bird intercom systems.

**Q: does anyone know if I can use this with a panic exit bar?**
A: Normally, a panic exit bar has a surface mount latch. The Hes 5000 is not a surface mount lock. Usually, for a panic exit bar you would use a surface mount lock like a Hes 9600.
