Works amazing, installation takes some time.
I researched this product for awhile before making this purchase. I installed mine on an 03 Chevy Silverado. I've had it installed for a week now with no issues at all. I'm running the bluetooth with an Iphone 6 and it has performed flawlessly. After initially connecting to the bluetooth, my phone automatically connects to the device when I start my vehicle up, the only thing I have to do is hit play on my phone. The usb option is a nice option to have for long drives when the bluetooth runs down the battery life on my phone. The bluetooth phone option work great. The microphone picks up your voice very well, but since my truck has an exhaust on it I decided to run the microphone close to me so that it wouldn't pick up as much of the exhaust noise. The manufacturer does not send you clear directions on how to use the factory radio buttons for your device, but you can go to the web and get the directions there. On the Iphone you can also save them to your ibooks app for quicker access. Installation was simple, but time consuming. I'm a neat freak so I have all my wires ran symmetrical to the factory wiring. On the Silverado, there's not a lot of room for the actual box to sit behind the radio. So I had an open compartment behind where the passenger side air bag switch is, so I mounted it there. The wires for device are all long enough to run everything pretty much wherever you want to in the front cabin. When installing the radio back into the vehicle is the only problem I ran into. The wiring it split two ways. and where its split at is so close to plugs that go into the back of the radio that its hard to get the support plug back into the mount hole that's on the back of the radio. It will fit, but its a tight fit. I took some time installing the usb port. I wanted it to look factory in my vehicle so I removed the 12V port on side of the center console and placed it there. The hole for port is larger than the usb adapter, so what I did was take the actual 12V port out of the black round housing that it was in, and then cut the end of the 12V port out so all that was left the metal piece that goes inside the black round housing. Then wrapped the usb adapter with electrical tape enough that when I slid it inside the metal piece that I had to really push to get it into it. That way when you go to use the usb adapter, when you go to pull the cord out, you won't pull the whole adapter out with it. Then I drilled a hole underneath the usb adapter for the reset switch. I installed the microphone next to the driver seat. I ran the wire in between the gap of the center console, and the adapter that holds the switch slides right over the console with a nice fit. All the wiring for the usb adapter and the microphone i zip tied underneath the center console. When you removed the center cupholder piece from the center console, there's a lot of room underneath it. So I zip tied my wires tightly together and ran them down the right side of the center console until the remaining of it was underneath that cup holder piece, then I zip tied the remaining all nice and tight and left them there. I'm happy with the way it turned out, and no-one can tell that its not factory by looking at it. I uploaded the pictures of my install just to show you what the finished product looks like. Another option for the usb install if you wanted to use the manufacturer's provided mount plate, would have been to put it inside the center console piece, either on the inside, or at the bottom. Also, one thing I did read up on for the Iphone, if you go into your phone and rename your Iphone without the apostrophe in it, for example Jon's Iphone, if you rename it Jons Iphone, somehow it improves functionality.

Item works great! But
Item works great! But, there are a few things that need further explanation. This unit works in multiple vehicle applications and for that reason, all functions, instructions, buttons, etc. cannot be listed in the quick start guide. A call (or two) to the very helpful tech support folks makes it all clear. In my application for instance, the blue tooth function drops out when changing from the sat band to either am or fm and I need to switch to sat to connect when the phone rings while listening to either am or fm. When listening to sat radio, it works perfectly. A minor thing, but not spelled out in the instructions. The install was very straightforward with no surprises. A great way to add blue tooth phone to older vehicles! Highly recommended!

Great WHEN it works.
WHEN it works, it is AWESOME! Unfortunately, it has to be reset quite often, causing me to have to re-pair my phone to the bluetooth. Another HUGE issue is that it does not want to work with my wife's iPhone 8 Plus. The audio continuously stops then continues, just as if someone were repeatedly pressing the pause button on and off. This is bad since it is in the vehicle that she drives the most! I will probably get a bluetooth adapter to plug into the aux input of this device just for her to be able to use it, even thought it will not be able to control the phone. I will be trying a few other things to reduce the need to be reset so frequently, but I think it is just not starting up properly with the GM Class 2 bus. As some others have stated in their reviews, I tried replacing it with another unit, however that did not improve anything for me, I'm glad it has helped some others. Although I marked my review as one star that means "I hate it" I plan to keep it, since I do like it when it works, I just wish I didn't have to go through a reset and phone re-pair every time. Just a little background on myself, I'm a professional automotive technician at a GM dealership with 18+ years of experience, and I also have a decent amount of experience installing car audio and aftermaket devices in cars at a professional level.

Updated: Audio goes in and out. iPhone 8 Plus
EDIT: So its been months since I written this review and AAMP has replaced the unit thinking it was a bad unit. I have come up with a weird issue and after investigating further, it may be a problem with the iPhone it self but Apple refused to replace or go further in investigation when talking to their support after their diagnostics showed no problems despite the issue happening only to the iPhone 8 Plus. I tried with my old iPhone 6 Plus and an Android tablet and it worked fine. The main problem for the iPhone 8 Plus is that streaming would go in and out. I found out that its my iPhone causing the issue, specifically when I turn the screen on/unlock the phone, with the audio going in and out. Once the screen goes back off the audio is fine and I have no problems with the audio anymore. But as soon as I get a notification or I turn the screen on it goes in and out again. It happens here and there over USB as well. My iPhone 8 Plus works fine over bluetooth to my Pioneer Radio in my other car so maybe it is a protocol issue but not sure.. Whats also strange is when I get a phone call the audio is fine even with the screen on. I'm not sure if its using a different protocol for the Audio vs the Phone Audio. I have updated the title and to 5 stars because its not a problem with the product but with the phone itself. Some people may not have problems with this so take this review as a grain of salt and try it out for yourself and see if you get the same issues. Original Review: This interface device isnโt a bad piece of equipment if you want to keep the factory look of your vehicle. Works as intended, sometimes... The Bluetooth is very flakey when playing music or even talking over the phone. I will be traveling down the highway and listening to music from my phone through Bluetooth and all of the sudden the music will stop, come back, stop again, come back and it will keep doing this until it either fixes it self or I restart the truck. I have reset the device multiple times with no Success. I moved the device around thinking maybe some of the metal braces were causing interference but it still happens. I took the device out and put the phone right next to it and the sound will still go in and out regardless of where itโs at. It will work find sometimes but for the price, I could of bought a cheap 2din radio that has better Bluetooth connectivity and audio then this plus have more features. I wanted to keep the factory look and have Bluetooth but it looks like Iโm looking for a 2din radio now to replace it.

The best option for this price point
I installed this in my 08 C6 Corvette with navigation. It did not have an aux input. Installation was relatively easy. I took my time and was very careful removing my center console. I did end up watching a youtube video to figure out the best way to do things. I am not impressed with the usability once the product is installed. For one, the instructions for use are very poor. Even with searching online it took me 20 minutes of pressing buttons to get it to work. In my car, you have to set the mode to XM and then use the seek up/down buttons to switch the mode. The different modes are XM, usb, aux, ipod, and bluetooth. Pairing is a bit cumbersome. Normally the first time my phone pairs (Samsung Note 3) it doesn't actually work even though it say's it's connected. I have to toggle the bluetooth again and reconnect to get the radio to actually recognize my phone. The microphone seems to work okay. It has a mount that comes with it that allows it to be directional, but with my microphone mounted on the dash I normally have to talk loudly or people say they have a hard time hearing me. The streaming works pretty well. Be sure to set the mode (using the seek up/down buttons) to BT. When in BT mode the 6 presets do different things. I do like that one of the presets (in my case #6) triggers the voice input on my phone. That allows me to use Google Now to do things like call people, send texts, play music, etc. Streaming also works with my steering wheel controls. As a heads up, if you switch to any input other than XM, it will drop the bluetooth connection. This is frustrating, as in my car the only way to switch from XM to aux/usb/BT is to switch to some mode other than XM and then switch back. Once you switch back you can use the seek up/down to switch the iSimple modes. So if you want to switch from XM to bluetooth, you're going to have to reconnect your bluetooth every time. This might be specific to my car's radio though. Pros: Cheap way to add aux/bluetooth/USB Streaming works well Installation is pretty easy Steering wheel integration USB power Cons: Poor documentation for installation Poor documentation for usage Poor support - I called multiple times over multiple days in the morning, afternoon, and evening, and was never able to actually get a response. Don't expect the company to help you with any issues Mic is quiet I did my research before I bought this product and I knew that it had some of these usability issues. That said, it's still probably the cheapest option to adding all of this functionality to your car. It is certainly much cheaper than adding a whole new head-unit. I would purchase this again.

Saved Me $400!!!! Great Product!
I purchased this interface after doing research on from the web. It almost sounded too good to be true based on the capabilities of this interface. I wanted to upgrade my stereo in my 2006 Chevy Tahoe/Z71 in order to have Bluetooth capabilities and an auxiliary jack to play some music from my iPhone. The problem I had with my setup was that my Tahoe was equipped with a Bose system, amplifier, On-Star, and steering wheel controls. All of them working together apparently. To replace my stereo I would have had to purchase and interface for the steering wheel and an interface to work with the Bose system and On-Star. It would have cost me over $400 to convert. Not something I was willing to do until I seen the Isimple interface. It took me approximately 5 minutes to connect and test, of course after removing the trim piece and stereo. The only issue I had during installation was pushing the wires back enough to remount the original stereo. Everything works, steering wheel controls, Bose system (sounds better) the Bluetooth streaming is great. I mounted the USB slot and reset button next to my traction control button on the dash next to the stereo and it looks and works great! The only negative for me is that the instruction manual could be better and there was no instruction on how the functions work with your stereo. I had to locate them on the web. Overall, great purchase, great product and it will save you some money on replacing your factory stereo.

... this for quite a while now and it's a super addition to the truck
I've had this for quite a while now and it's a super addition to the truck....04 Duramax. I enjoy having the ability to listen to our music at the flip of a switch. BT helps too. The cons is that it seems to be a bit "touchy"....it loses BT on occasion and also, shuts itself down. It's not a huge issue though because it rarely happens. There's a red reset button to push, it will reboot and all's well once again. Would I buy it again...sure. It can't be beat for the price and ease of use.

Great product
Got the info on this from an online Chevy truck forum. Thought I would try it for my 2005 Chevy truck that has no hands free or Bluetooth capability. This works incredibly!!! Installation was pretty involved and may not be for everybody, but this piece is awesome. Plays music from iPhone and the hands free phone is clear and easy. Great product for right around $100. One of the best upgrades in my 10 yr old truck
