If you have a WS3000, you need an extra and this is it.
Was glad that I was able to find an additional glass wheel for my WS3000 that I purchased on Ebay. This thing works great and the price was reasonable.

Fits exactly as it should.
I purchased this for a work sharp sharpener. The product fit as it was supposed to and functions appropriately. If you need a replacement glass wheel for your workshop machine, this is it. I would recommend this product.

Does what it's supposed to do.
Nice flat surface for the sanding media. Not much to report on other than that. I keep one grit on one side, and another on the other. Using felt tipped pen I mark what side has what. Makes it easy to identify which side to use.

If you need an extra wheel for more grit choices
Just like the glass wheels that came with the Work Sharp; so if you need an extra wheel or two for more grit choices this is better than taking off only partially used abrasive from the stock wheels. Each wheel can hold two grits. One of mine has fairly coarse grit for a little bit less refined work. One also has the option to use very fine grits with the extra wheels. This is the way to go.

Having extra "Tempered Glass Wheel's" for the Work Sharp, makes it easy to go from one grit to another.

If you are having to reshape chisels and plane irons, involving significant removal of steel, consider putting the same coarse grit on both sides of the glass wheel in order to flatten backs and reshape edges without the need to flip the disks.
