I had bruised my coccyx in a fall and found it extremely painful to sit on a normal chair the next day. While I was able to fashion a temporary solution with a rolled up towel this cushion was far more comfortable. The firmness of the material provides support while also giving enough not to become uncomfortable while sat for a long time. The shape provides a huge relief from the pain I had when I attempted to sit. I spend most of my work day sat at a desk, which was only possible in the last two weeks thanks to this cushion. It looks and feels well made. The fabric has a nice finish and feels thick enough to last a long time. The texture on the underside keeps it from moving around much. It is easy for me to pick up and move around to other places in the house. Mostly I use it while sat on a basic desk chair but it has worked well for me in my car, on sofas and on dinning chairs too. I can only speak of the pain relief it has brought my following an injury, which was huge and I am sure it has allowed me to continue working while allowing my coccyx to heal. If you have lower back pains while sat it may also help you as it does transfer most of the weird down to your upper thighs and buttocks while sat. I can say from being bruised that many of my common sitting positions evidently put a fair pressure into my coccyx as right now I get to know about it immediately, but if sit correctly on the cushion I now feel nothing after two weeks of healing up.

My husband had bought one and recommended it. It has helped my back a great deal while sitting at my desk. I’ve taken one star off as I have to keep adjusting it as it slips around a little. But I would recommend it as it really does help. I have a pro laps lumber disc

I have purchased Supportiback in the past and retain an old firm product. I have came back to change my original review of this lumber cushion. I thought very carefully to update my opinion on the Supportiback Lumber Cushion. I have in the past engaged with Supportiback Customer Service and they are a company that goes that extra mile for you. In turn it is very important that I help them in their commitment to help those of us who suffer terrible pain from spine related issues. As a customer of Supportiback I have derived vital relief from at different stages of Spinal Stenosis and a permanent herniated disc. Then Surgery, recovery, then horrific injury to the surgery area. The journey of this debilitating nightmare requires us to search for relief and comfort. I have been using the Cushion for a few days after a frightening and extremely painful injury to my surgery area at the S1 L5. I try to give the people looking at this as much information so they can match it to their own pain and discomforts. I am finding the need for this cushion. I am almost 2 stone lighter from my first review. My backside is sitting perfect and my tailbone is hovering perfectly within the cut out area. I am changing to 5 Stars I am recommending It is a great price.

I bought one of these a few years ago to try and help with lower back and leg pain when driving. This was particularly uncomfortable after playing golf or after a long hike with the dog. The "Supportiback" cushion was effective in relieving the pain and discomfort and has remained in the driving seat as an essential bit of equipment. I have just bought a replacement as the original one was giving a little. I have passed it on to an elderly person who weighs a bit less, well a lot less, than me and has proved an effective comfort aid for her too. I am sure the new one will be just as effective as it softens a little and memorises my shape and gets use to my weight. Good purchase and one I can recommend

It is a very firm cushion and does not seem to be softening .

This is my second purchase as the first was to be used on my kitchen chair that has now turned into an office area 5 days a week. The supportive seat has changed my posture without causing more back pains before getting to a comfortable point. The really thick padding is superb & the non slip base works brilliantly, so it does not move off the chair with you & having no straps to tie or fasten is a bonus. To help with exercise I bought a rowing machine, I soon found out from others that a padded seat was required. I tried my first purchase & was amazed at how it stayed in place & how the design meant your lower back during the rowing motion was better protected. Other people have tried different seats for their rowers, but all appear to come with straps which get caught in the rower rollers. I rarely write reviews but this one I had to because of how impressed I am with the seat cushion.

I've used this for over a year. Works really well even if it looks a bit odd! Very happy with it.

Bought this as a “last resort” for our Z4 for my partner who has sciatica. Now been round Europe 3 times and many uk trips. Would definitely recommend 👍
