This book fit all of our needs. It contains a good variety of his songs and music and includes the chords and tablature which makes things a lot easier for me. We're thinking about buying a second copy to make it easier for us to play together. Our only "complaint" is that it is that we would have preferred spiral bound so it would lay on the music stand better but that wasn't an option. Note that I am reviewing what I bought, an excellent song book, not what I wished was different, therefore it is immenently worty of the five star review. We "remedied" the binding with a quick trip to Kinko's where they cut the old binding, laminated the front and back covers, and the spiral bound it, all for less than $10. Also, as a side note, shipping was quick and very well packaged. Review: I love this songbook! - So I love John Denver. This book has all of my favorites, like "Perhaps Love", "Leaving on a Jet Plane", "I Want to Live", "Annie's Song" and "The Garden Song". I have played most of the 50 plus songs and find them fairly easy to pick up and just fun to play. My respect for John Denver as a musician has also increased. If you are a John Denver fan, most of the songs you want will be in this book. One disappointment is that some of the lyrics are not right. I double checked with John Denver's recordings. It's almost like a they couldn't find the lyrics and no one had written them down and someone listened to the song and wrote down what they thought John Denver was singing. As I mentioned above I don't actually sing, since I can't carry a tune, this doesn't affect the play-ability of the songs and I'd rather have the music and the wrong words than no music at all.

Great for guitar and piano

I love this songbook!

Gotta have it if youโre a JD fan
I just got back into playing the piano in my retirement, so I would be considered a beginner again. This book has all of his favorite songs and many are fairly easy to learn, but some can be a little challenging without much experience. I just take it slow. If you are an avid JD fan like myself, you will really enjoy this compilation.

Simple arrangements of great songs
I am to sing one of these songs at a memorial service soon, and this easy arrangement is perfect for me to rehearse. The other songs are great to have as well.Lots of good memories.

John Denver Anthology Keeps Music Alive In The Rocky Mountains!
John Denver wrote songs which I felt were truly musical poetry! They are chorded to really feel the emotion he had when he composed! John also wrote a detailed historical review of each song in his anthology. I feel he represented his life and the Rocky Mountains through his music in a beautiful and memorable way! I would highly recommend this intermediate level collection to all music lovers!

Great book for those who love JD and the beautiful songs he wrote!
Great book for intermediate piano players. Although it doesn't contain " Eagles and Horses ", the book has many of my favorites. I love how John's music persuades us to love the earth GOD gave us and want to take care of the beauty all around us. I know he and his music was an inspiration to us all.

Beautiful Arrangements
I bought this book on whim as I was looking for something different. I am very impressed with the beautiful arrangements and number of songs included in this book. It is not for the absolute beginner, but is not extremely difficult either. Have gained a new appreciation for John Denver's music and would highly recommended this book.

This is a really comprehensive JD anthology. I wasn't expecting so many of his lesser known (and my favourite) songs. Excellent value for money.
