Greenworks 24V 10" Cordless TORQDRIVE™ String Trimmer, 2.0Ah Battery and Charger Included

This trimmer works good. It's fairly lightweight and easy to use. It has decent power. The only thing I thought that could be better is for the battery to last longer. It was advertised for 30 minutes, but I was hoping for longer. It went 30 minutes pretty much right to the minute.

I am a senior female. This is my first cordless trimmer and I am glad I purchased it for the ease in moving to different parts of my large lawn to trim or outright cut grass that my mower can't. The benefits are the long lasting battery charges, relatively light weight, no cord to trip on, and the original spool of string that has gone two years without needing replacement. Another great feature is the owner's manual that came with it being easy to read and understand. I recommend reading it because this is different from the previous corded one I had & will make your experience with it so much better. For instance, look at the cut direction stamped right at the base. I have a small Greenworks chainsaw and the battery is the same so I have spares, if needed. As a side note I did purchase a couple extra spools of string, not knowing how long the original would last because some manufacturers make what comes with their product skimpy. That isn't the case with this. I hang this up by the handle in my garage along with my rakes & other tools which I find convenient for having it off the floor.

Works good. Powerful, easy to use. No USB battery as advertised.

The Greenworks weed eater has enough power and cutting ability for normal yard trimming. Battery charge lasts for several hours of use. I replaced a Greenworks weed eater that I lost when property was flooded and chose to replace with same model. I have obviously been satisfied with product.

Ok product but I can’t get the line to feed more than about 2”

It stopped working in 4 months

This thing uses a centrifugal string release "mechanism" so every time you stop and start it will chop off some string regardless if it needs to or not. What I did to fix this is cut a piece of an old drivers license, fold it, and stick it to a piece of double sided tape. Pulled the spring mechanism open and jammed it in the opening. Only down side is you have to take the end off to release more string but at least your string won't be gone in a month.

This is used over multiple yards during the summer. Holds it's charge, good power, lightweight, and easy to use. Could not ask for anything more at this price point.
